Interested in volunteering?

The Deaf in Government (DIG) Board and its members are seeking candidates who are willing to devote their time and energy to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Federal Government community.

We have three Board Member positions immediately available:
Recording Secretary
Board Member at Large
Board Member at Large

The only requirement we have is that you have the enthusiasm and the desire to share your talents. It does not matter where you reside or work.

Recording Secretary:
Someone who can develop and circulate monthly Board meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and post approved minutes online for member access. This position is a two year term and will be a voting member of the Board of Directors.

Board Member at Large (2 positions):
Members-at-Large represent the interests of the General Membership on the Board. They may take responsibility for activities on the basis of interest or at the request of the Board or President, or serve on standing or ad hoc committees, and handle special projects. This is a voting position on the Board of Directors.

Visit the Available Board Positions page to learn more.

If you are interested in serving in any of these three positions, please contact us at: we@deafingov.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
