Commemorate the ADA with AAPD

AAPD has a series of events on July 23rd to commemorate the 24th Anniversary of the ADA (Actual Anniversary is July 26th.). I hope that you will consider joining some or all of them!  

Symposium: Consumer Protection for People with Disabilities

Start the day at 9 am with AAPD and the National Consumers League for a morning symposium on Consumer Protection for People with Disabilities.  The symposium will consist of two panels and a fireside chat with Congressman Sensenbrenner. The panels focus on technology and the factoring of structured settlements.

Justice for All Awards

Please RSVP for the 2014 AAPD Justice For All Awards.  This year's event is begins at 3:30 pm and will be held in the House Visitors Center, HVC-201.  This year's honorees include Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Congressional Champion) and Bernie Deleo (Grassroots Champion). ADA Celebration
End the day with AAPD and breath taking views of the Capital for our ADA Celebration taking place at  6:30 pm. This is the only ticketed event of the day. Tickets can be purchased on the AAPD website. This year they will be honoring Senator Tom Harking with the Tony Coelho Lifetime Achievement Award and will be honoring AT&T for their commitment to people with disabilities. It promises to be a fun and festive end to the day.
