Call for Volunteers!

Volunteer at the National Training Conference

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Government (DHHIG) National Training Conference's Steering Committee is seeking volunteers to help out at the 2007 NTC May 8-10, 2007.

The duties involve assisting workshop presenters and Steering Committee Coordinators, registration for attendees, , and helping folks with directions and other important information at the Conference. We expect 400 to 500 attendees, so there are many opportunities at this biennial conference. We need you to volunteer! You can volunteer one, two, or all three days of the conference.

Why Volunteer? When you volunteer, you are giving part of yourself, your time, energy, and feelings to the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Community! You will meet new friends, broaden your networking, and may very well increase your career opportunities in the Government!

If you are interested in getting more information about volunteering, please notify the Volunteer Coordinator, Mark McKay with the U.S. Department of Education via email at ntcvolunteers@dhhig.org. Additional Information can also be found on www.dhhig.org/ntc/2007. Deadline is April 6th to Volunteer!
